Learner Driver

Get ahead of the crowd! Half specialist driving activities + half classic PGL Multi-Activity

  • PGL Adventure Holidays - Specialist Holidays for 7-17 year olds across the UK and France - Love to Learn – Learner Driver

Learner Driver

Want to be able to drive a car before you’re old enough to drive on the roads? Our Learner Driver holiday means that when it comes to having lessons you’ll be well ahead of the crowd. This camp includes five half day driving sessions alongside an action-packed Multi-Activity programme.

What do I learn?
We’ll take you to a location off the public roads (by coach), where you’ll experience 1 hour of driving each day per child as well as other practical sessions. By the end of the week you will be able to start and stop smoothly, use the clutch, steer through a slalom course, three-point turns, reverse, park and more.

What are the cars like?
We use a variety of modern, dual control cars, exactly the same as you would use for normal lessons.

Can I take my test?
You can’t take your test at PGL but after your five sessions over the course of your Kids' Camp when you do have your first lesson you’ll have a head start!

Can I do other activities as well?
Yes – when you're not off-site at your driving workshops you'll get to experience the best of Multi-Activities at Liddington.

Ps - to create the best camp experience for kids attending occasionally we will combine adjacent age groups on selected activity sessions. This does not include rooming or pastoral groups. During off-site activities in public areas children will be escorted by a member of our PGL team at all times.

Activities

Every day is different
You'll enjoy five half day driving sessions during this holiday. When not at driving school you'll spend the rest of your time trying out a selection of different activities from our brilliant Multi-Activity programme such as climbing and canoeing.  Please note that not all activities are available at all centres; please see the specific centre pages for more information.

Evening activities - the fun doesn’t stop there!
We also include fun-packed evening activities programmes at all our centres, every day, all year round, whichever holiday you choose.
